We want to increase the dialogue and interest in sustainability issues.   I’m very passionate about being transparent and forthcoming when it comes to the systems McDonald’s has in place to advance sustainability.

Some of you may have been following along with us on our Listening Tour journey that we kicked off earlier this summer. Over the past few months members of our U.S. leadership have been seeking input from key audiences on how McDonald’s can continue to best serve communities in the areas of food, people and the environment

So now, as part of our Listening Tour efforts, I’m conducting my first-ever Twitter chat with our customers about environment sustainability.  I’m looking forward to talking with our customer directly about the topics that are important to them and us – and hear how they believe McDonald’s can be a partner in creating solutions for a better planet tomorrow.

For those interested in participating in our Twitter chat, you can tune in on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 12:30 p.m. CT via @McDListenTour and join the conversation with #McDChanging.
